Terni, campus estivo Integramente: “Innovativo programma caratterizzato da attività funzionali alla socializzazione”
L’assessore al welfare <del Comune di Terni> Viviana Altamura: “Tale iniziativa si è rivelata un successo e va incrementata per il prossimo anno, in quanto mancano attività per i ragazzi più grandi”.
Un progetto ‘pilota’ a cura dell’associazione Integramente APS, impegnata nella sensibilizzazione, formazione ed inclusione sociale. L’assessore al welfare Viviana Altamura evidenzia la bontà del campus estivo che ha coinvolto ragazzi dall’età compresa tra i 15 e i 22 anni, con e senza disabilità: “Questo innovativo programma – afferma Viviana Altamura - ha visto la partecipazione di sei ragazzi, supportati da due tecnici specializzati”.
I dettagli dell’iniziativa: “Il campus si è svolto su un periodo di due settimane, durante le quali i partecipanti hanno preso parte ad attività funzionali alla vita quotidiana e alla socializzazione, contribuendo così a costruire competenze pratiche e relazionali. Pertanto si è rivelata un successo e va incrementata per il prossimo anno, in quanto mancano attività per i ragazzi più grandi”.
La presidente Federica Carafani mostra soddisfazione per i risultati ottenuti anche dai campus estivi che, da anni, l’associazione porta avanti per i più piccoli, ragazzi con disabilità di età compresa tra i 4 e 14 anni: “Grazie alla generosità dei nostri donatori – dichiara - quest'anno abbiamo potuto offrire un'esperienza unica a diciotto ragazzi con disabilità. Il campus ha fornito un ambiente accogliente e stimolante, dove i partecipanti hanno potuto godere di una vasta gamma di attività progettate per promuovere la socializzazione, l'autonomia e il divertimento”.
Ed ancora: “Siamo estremamente orgogliosi dei risultati raggiunti e dell'impatto positivo che questi programmi hanno avuto sui partecipanti e sulle loro famiglie. La missione - conclude - è continuare a promuovere l'inclusione e l'uguaglianza, creando opportunità che favoriscano la crescita personale e sociale di tutti i ragazzi, indipendentemente dalle loro abilità”.
